About

Books, books and more books. What to do with all these books?Thousands of pounds of unwanted books end up in landfills everyday.Instead of throwing away your unwanted books, you can free-cycle them!

Bring any unwanted books to the market. The books will then be sorted according to condition and marketability. Some books will be sold for profit in a retail shop. 10% of the retail sales will go directly to the Five Points Community Farm Market.

Books deemed unsaleable will be made available to the community for free. The free books will be loaded into a pick-up truck and will be in the parking lot at the farm market on Church St, Thurs.-Sun. each week.

Books that can't be given away will be recycled at Atlantic Paper Stock Company, a division of Butler Paper Recycling every Friday morning. There, the books will be reincarnated into something new.

There are many reasons to free-cycle your unwanted books. But, the best reason of all is because it always feels so good to do some good.
